Individuals served through our program must have a primary diagnosis of a development disability or other related condition.
The main emphasis of the program is to help those with special needs become and remain as independent as possible and to be involved in their community.
KAMBI CARE does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. We are a drug and alcohol free environment. We warmly welcome adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities as well as other developmental disorders, head injuries, and seizure disorders.
We accept mentally challenged adults who are employed or are employable, stable, and not in crisis for a 90-day evaluation. (We accept Medicaid eligible individuals.)
Candidates for admission must be able to self-administer any medications.
All program candidates are screened by the program director and a registered nurse.
KAMBI CARE is a “first come, first served” program.
